Dipti paints with a piping technique: acrylic applied line by line, like thread, until the surface reads as woven cloth. Rhythm and order, kept alive by the beautiful irregularities of the human hand.
The Technique
Paint leaves the piping bag the way thread leaves a needle. Each strand sits on the canvas and holds its shape, and thousands of them together form a surface you want to touch. It is embroidery, in acrylic.

The Journey
Before painting full time she built ventures in candles, jewellery and apparel, then spent seven years running an art enrichment centre. That discipline, of showing up and making daily, now feeds a practice entirely her own.
The Influence
Traditional textiles and handcrafted practice, where repetition carries meaning and time is embedded in the making. Patterns repeat, balance and refine until precision and variation hold together in one surface.
